While in Rwanda, Jeremy Danneman partnered with some outstanding musicians, including Sophie Nzayisenga, who is possibly the only female professional inanga player in the world. The inanga is a string instrument so rare there isn’t even a wikipedia page about it. In the Spring of 2015, as part of the Harmonious Exchange Project, Sophie visited NYC and recorded with Jeremy Danneman’s band, featuring bassist William Parker and percussionist Tim Keiper.
