Murambi Blues

Murambi Blues is a tune inspired by a visit to the Murambi Genocide Memorial in Rwanda. In what had been a school under construction, thousands of refugees were massacred during the Genocide Against the Tutsi. Today, there are classrooms full of mummified bodies and mass burial sites. Rwandans and people all over the world are now commemorating the 20th anniversary of those events. Murambi Blues features Jeremy Danneman on clarinet, Anders Nilsson on Guitar, William Parker on bass, and Tim Keiper on drums.
